Mission Statement

The mission of the Terrier Training Girl’s Soccer Academy Camps and Clinics are to provide summer soccer camp programming for girls that focuses on developing and refining techniques, introducing and enhancing an understanding of soccer tactics as well as offering auxiliary programming that supports the development of the whole player.

Through age and experience appropriate curriculums, our staff provides a challenging and fun learning environment. By offering day, evening and residential programs, Terrier Training is geared toward both the recreational and advanced player. In all our camp settings, we hire a predominately female coaching and counseling staff. We believe the involvement of qualified and experienced female coaches and players as teachers and role models, is an important aspect of the learning and playing environment we create.

Our goal is to foster achievement, as well as to inspire enjoyment and passion for playing the sport of soccer. Terrier Training, begun in 1996, has a history of safe and enjoyable soccer camp programming.

Parent and Player Testimonials

"I had such a fun time at camp this year. The counselors made training sessions so much fun! They were so supportive on and off the field. The talks (conditioning, nutrition, sports psychology) were awesome. It was so nice to have those incorporated into the camp. Overall, I have come to the Terrier camp for the past 5 years (day camp and overnight) and I had the best time this year. Can’t wait to come back next year!"
-Natalie, a 2007 camper

"I had an outstanding time at camp. I really liked the setup where we trained with a different coach during the morning session. This allowed us to experience different coaching styles as well as different points of view. I appreciated how the day was structured. The breaks came at good times in order to ensure that we did not become overtired and subsequently injured. Our counselors were excellent. Shauna and Kim enhanced the overall experience by providing us with an easy access to knowledgeable sources about Division I college. More importantly, they were fun and not at all intimidating. Liz was a great coach. Her composure towards the game gave us all a sense of confidence."
-Marissa, a 2007 camper

"Thanks for providing a wonderful experience for my daughter Kelly this week — she absolutely loved the soccer camp and is still raving about it. She has attended a few soccer camps but has never enjoyed one as much as yours. Kelly really enjoyed getting to know Muggs who sounds like a great soccer player and a lot of fun. I think the all girls environment with female coaching was great, Kelly enjoyed the trivia homework and some of your speakers sounded inspiring."
-Beth, parent of Kelly, a 2005 day camper
